Hi, my name is Nicole, and my company is Nikki pink and company. And I just wanted to share my experience I’ve had working with Tim Johnson. He was introduced me through a mutual friend. And I’ve had exactly two conversations with him. And I’m going to do this a little backwards. In the second conversation, he had come, he has completely changed how I think about my communication.
How I value myself, how I value my business, how I value what I bring to my customers and how it can affect their lives. He made me realize, thought process thought patterns that I had and language that I was using that was hindering me personally, struggling with sales and struggling with getting my business to where it wanted to be.
And I can’t even tell you, my mind is a little reeling right now. And I just had a conversation with a friend. And I actually heard myself self correcting what I was saying, as the thoughts were coming into my head, I was adjusting and it came out of my mouth differently. After one conversation, that was a second conversation. What I really want to tell you about is the very first conversation I had with him.
I was put on the phone with him, I was having an issue with a client who was asking me for some work, and I was getting a lot of pushback about my prices and what I could do for them. And he, in a very brief conversation, taught me how to think about it differently, reframe it in my mind. And when I sat and I thought about it, I responded with a very simple two sentence email that immediately shifted the, the mind of the potential client, they track me down like a dog for a whole day trying to get me on the phone so that they could sign up.
And I sent an invoice in one little email in one, one shift in the conversation, turned them from pushing back on prices arguing with me about services, not wanting to pay the prices, telling me, you know, going against my recommendations, I sent one email, and it completely turned it around. Then they were dying to talk to me. When they finally got me on the phone. They said send us an invoice and it was a done deal. So I’m just getting started with Tim. I am so so grateful for him. I’m so excited to work more with him and see where we can do if you are, you know, it doesn’t matter what kind of business you’re in. If you’re in business, you do sales.
